Challenge

Led the collaboration of a team of 6 visual designers, 3 motion designers on creating a fully animated video-based slide deck that covers 15+ products.

contribution 1

Provide solution for press event's special screen size and ratio.

problem 1

PowerPoint’s maximum resolution isn’t wide enough to cover the screen.

The maximum width that PowerPoint can have is 5376px, there might be chance that no one will see the difference.

problem 2

Not able to play full screen yet non-blurred product animation within PowerPoint.

A workable video resolution in PowerPoint is around 2000px wide considering the file size and the loading.

Support the size of the screen and less limitation on the video format.

Clickable just like PowerPoint. Zero learning curve to the speakers.

I soon found out that a software called ” Wings VIOSO” might do the job, I downloaded the trial version and played with it and confirmed that the features fit our need. The only downside is, we have to build everything in video format.

After confirmed the bandwidth with the team, we brought this up to the execs. And we got the green light! Let’s get our crazy idea started!

Insure a nearly 100 pages video-based deck can be reviewed at each checkpoint as well as maintain the capabilities of last minute editing whether its wording or graphics.
